1. Navigate to Zone Creation

• Step 1: Go to the Manage Tab.
• Step 2: Select the Create Zone option.

2. Create a Zone

• Zone Name (Required): Enter the name of the zone in the text field.
• Portal (Required): Select a portal from the dropdown.
• Zone Color (Required): Choose a color from the color scale to fill the zone polygon.

3. Draw the Zone

• Step 3: Use the "Draw a Shape" tool to create the zone on the map.
  • Start drawing the zone by selecting areas where the zone must be created, making sure to check the nearby street boundaries.
  • Draw a full zone polygon at the same zoom level.
  • Note: Once the zone is saved, it cannot be edited. If you need to make changes, you will have to delete and redraw the zone.
    

4. Drawing the Zone Boundary

• Step 4: Click on the starting point of the boundary from any place within the boundary line.
  • Continue clicking the next point along the boundary until you return to the starting point to close the polygon.
  • Smaller spaces between points create a more accurate polygon.
    

5. Adjust the Boundary After Drawing

• Step 5: After drawing the polygon, click the “Stop Drawing” icon at the top of the map.
• Step 6: Zoom in to the maximum level at all corner points and adjust the boundary line (dots) to cover the full street, either inside or outside the line.
  • Note: The dots are movable only while the zone polygon is gray. Once saved, the zone cannot be edited.
    

6. Final Adjustments to the Boundary

• Step 7: Adjust all corners and ensure that the streets near the boundary are properly covered.
• Step 8: Make sure that all corners are either inside or outside the streets.
• Step 9: After all adjustments, save the zone. Remember, once saved, the zone cannot be edited. It will need to be deleted and redrawn for changes.
  
• Step 10: If the new zone overlaps with an already existing zone, recreate the overlapping zone and adjust the streets as needed to include them in the appropriate zone.

7. Include or Exclude Streets from the Zone

• Step 11: To include or exclude specific streets, use the toggle on the right side of the screen.
  • To include streets, select “Include street(s)” under the type, then click on the road segments you want to add. The selected segments will turn blue.
  • Save changes when complete.
    

8. Adding Streets to an Existing Zone

• Step 12: To add streets to an existing zone, toggle on “Add streets/Create zone by streets” on the right side of the screen.
  • Select “Add street(s)” and choose the zone to add streets to.
  • Streets already in the zone will appear brown, and unselected streets will be blue. Click on any blue street to add it to the zone. The selected streets will turn pink.
  • To save, click “Add streets & update zone”.
    

9. Creating a Zone by Streets

• Step 13: To create a zone by selecting streets, toggle on “Add streets/Create zone by streets”, then select “Create zone by street(s)”.
  • Choose the portal and enter the zone name.
  • Click on blue road segments to add them to the zone. The selected segments will turn pink.
  • To save, click “Save zone”.
  • Note: If you wish to delete any selected streets, click the red trash can icon next to the zone name in the panel.
    

10. Deleting a Zone

• Step 14: To delete a zone, go to the “Delete Zone” dropdown in the panel on the right.
  • The dropdown will show existing zones. Click the arrow next to the zone to see when it was created.
  • To delete the zone, click the red trash can icon next to the zone name.
